- Does Valence work with my theme?
- Yes. Valence is a theme app extension: you turn it on in the theme editor, and it uses your store’s own cart and checkout. No code changes to your theme.
- What counts as a reply or an AI product pairing?
- A reply is one answer from the assistant to a shopper. An AI product pairing is one product whose “goes well with” suggestions Valence writes. Both come out of your plan’s monthly allowance first, then credits, then on-demand usage on monthly plans.
- What happens when I run out?
- The assistant pauses on your storefront until your allowance resets, you buy credits, or you turn on on-demand usage on a monthly plan. You see the reason and the fix in the Valence admin, and nothing is charged that you did not approve.
- How does the free trial work?
- Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial that includes 200 assistant replies and 500 AI product pairings. You can start your plan early at any time; otherwise Shopify begins charging when the trial ends, and your first paid month starts with the full allowance.
- Can I cancel?
- Anytime, from the Valence admin. Shopify credits the unused days of your plan. Credits you bought stay on your account for your next plan.
